Can someone with a better understanding of this game please explain if I just have a poor grasp of the English language? "...deal maximum damage, instead of rolling." Doesn't this mean you don't roll at all and you just hit max damage instead? If so, what mechanic is making my clerics miss their spells? I have missed destructive wrath lightning spells more than I have hit them. I am going insane here.
How do I do this? Everyone says yea you can do this but no one says how.
