This skill is cursed.
It's a very strong Wizard class, but boy oh boy does it slow down combat with Reaction spamming.

Portent is not supposed to use your reaction FYI. This is a nerf to the ability from 5th edition.

This is powerful, even though the resource is scarce up until level 6. But even in the early game, having your thunderwave automatically work against a powerful enemy can mean easy kill from falling damage or even sending a foe into the chasm for an auto-kill. Can be used to save your ass too, when you roll a low number.

I cant believe it. You cant be serious about taking portent 1to1 in a game with 10 times the amount of enemys per long Rest.
Unobvious dice secrets.
1) it's a prediction, not time control, and the dice won't work if the event is physically impossible. For example, if the opponent can't roll less than 6 thanks to the sum of bonuses (critical 1 doesn't count), then it's useless to give him a die from 2 to 5, it just won't work.
2) Portent dice don't require a purple reaction crystal. So you can potentially use all 3 in 1 turn. The only restriction is 1 die per person. This rule is one, you can only use 1 reaction per 1 person, even if it's you (and if you spend a dice on yourself, forget the shield, you're dead, so be careful).
3) The longer the game goes on, the higher the attack and defense bonuses of the enemies and this should be taken in mind - the dice become most effective only for effects, not for defense.
4) Very strong with spells that give insta advantage like thunderwave, fear or telekinesis. Weak with AOE control, because require dice for every person and this spells often do saving throw every round, like hypnotic pattern or slow.
5) Work range is 18m, so it won't work if target far than that
6) One of the most funny thing in the game, pls enjoy it!
