Can confirm that this works, BBG did a multiattack on my fighter and obliterated him, next turn targeted my rogue, had this on and the rogue shook it off. Was pretty clutch.
Deactivates afterwards. And yeah it really should be added to your toolbar. It's pretty janky and really should be a one use per battle reaction.

does this stack with blade ward just got armor that gives me it constantly. if not i guess it's ok but i might reroll off of lvl 5 thief maybe for another fighter level. tryin to go for maximum tanky on a character.

Tested- reaction not spent on this effect
can reduce damage from multiple attacks in one turn
may be deactivated somehow during the battle, better to add it to panel and check before battle
can be stacked with resistance to all damages. From cleric or barbarian-rogue multi class
also if cleric has adamantine heavy armor (-3dmg of any type) and heavy armor feat(-2dmg physical) then incoming 20dmg become 20-10-5=5dmg to rogue and 5-3-2=0dmg to cleric! reduced by 75% without concentration or some conditions =)
Looks buggy anyway

Can also confirm it requires reaction, also press K and drag the passive on your bars cause most of the time it's disabled by default.

The wording on this ability is misleading. It should say something about the fact that you have to use a reaction to be able to halve the damage. Still good though.

So it seems to straight up give you 50% resistance at no extra cost, must be fun coupled with bear heart barbarian and stallion aspect (24 temp hp for bonus action from cunning dash).

so this is just straight up resistance (-50%dmg) to all incoming attacks from both weapons and spells? thats insane.

For those wondering if it works: It does.
It's a toogle under Passives.
I just tried it out by attack Astarion myself. I hit him with 11 Damage, and he received 5 (11/2=5,5==6; 11-6=5)

so does this cost a Reaction? i mean...try not to use our Human Understanding. becos if we do, we will think it is a reaction logically speaking. so i am asking from a Gamer's Perspective in BG3 terms: when this triggers. does it cost a Reaction?
- Anonymous
The skill is bugged, isn't a reaction and even when you realize it's now a toggle, it keeps detoggling itself

Has anyone's actually worked? I have had it for a while and it still has not proc'd.

Fighting an assassin enemy with Uncanny Dodge (Dolor) and he is reducing all the damage he takes by 1/2, not just the first attack in a round.
