- can be use once per long rest

I never understood why it's a long rest recharge. It would synergize better if it were to recharge on a short rest, like the rest of Fighter's abilities. Wouldn't be OP since you only get 1 use, and at that stage in the game, you're going to face against multiple spell casters in one fight.

Considering this is only once per long rest, I really wish it was "if you fail a saving throw, pass instead." It feels really bad when you use this and still fail a saving throw. It's honestly pretty worthless.

Does this just do nothing? Proc multiple times and always hits after the roll

This should really just be a get-out-of-jail-free once per long rest ability. Just turn a saving throw fail into a success with no questions asked.
That or make it so if you fail a saving throw, use indomitable, and still fail, it doesn't get consumed and you can keep using it until it works.
