I hope they put fighting initiate feat in the game, so I use my dual wield Barbarian without multiclassing
What I found out is that indeed it is bugged with the offhand attack you get the proficiency bonus for the damage but not the proficiency bonus for the attack roll (without picking the feat)

I think this is bugged at the moment - even without picking it I am getting +3 dex damage bonus on my offhand attack as a ranger.

You can only Dual-Wield Light Weapons and when you feat you can Dual-Wield any non-light Weapons.

both your main hand and off hand weapons have to be light to dual wield, unless you get the feat at lvl 4 that lets you dual wield all one hand weapons

Put both weapons in the slots on the left. You guys are probably trying to equip the melee weapons on the bow side

I can't equip an off hand weapon either. I've tried daggers, short swords, rapiers, and scimitars. Nothing.

How do you equip an offhand weapon as fighter?
Maybe it's bugged, but I cannot equip anything on the offhand.
I think it might be useless currently, as even without this fighting style, my lvl 4 fighter with archery still gets ability modifier on both attack and damage rolls on both shots, offhand included.
