Only problem with this, is during a certain fight, on Tactician, all enemies have Radiant Retort which literally shuts down your paladin.

Curios if this applies to thrown weapon attacks? I'd assume not since it says "melee weapon attacks", but you never really know for sure on this wiki

It's 2d8 radiant per turn which is arguably just as good if not better if you are rocking a 1h than an extra attack. The 7 warlock multiclass is fine, but it's far from being a straight upgrade. You lose out on a feat, 3 strong auras even if just for yourself, strong spells like haste and warden of vitality, lay on hands power, and this is pretty = to an extra attack "slightly worse if 2h". In exchange for some ok spellcasting and being able to dump STR. I'd prefer a 10 sword bard personally IF I were to multiclass, this retains the extra attack and gives you almost full casting bard benefit, but with an unparalleled ability to slam divine smites with a full caster's spell slots for when you aren't casting and a shield for duelling.

I mean, Paladin does not get a second extra attack like the Fighter, but this here is still pretty ****ing awesome and absolutely worth getting and not respecing into another class after lv 8.

This is always on. All your melee attacks have the +1d8
The smite ones of course also has the +1d8 since are melee attacks after all.

Is this an always-on passive skill or does it only apply to the Divine Smite attack?
That is a fixed amount of extra dmg or this incress with your charisma?
