Natural Explorer Tips & Notes
- For the Beast Tamer feature, you can only cast Find Familiar once per short rest.
- Cold, Fire, and Poison are the most common types of damage so having resistance to any of them without the need to commit to other resources is useful, and choosing any of the Wasteland Wanderer features is one of the strongest damage reduction options available. If you are planning to min-max your Ranger, you can always respecc and take advantage of the resistance you might require in certain areas.

Does the resistance stack with dragon blood from sorc or tief racial?

There's a Shortbow that grants both fire and cold resistance, so with it and Wasteland Wanderer: Poison you can have all three of those resistances
Darkfire Shortbow if i recall correctly but not sure about the name

Can anyone confirm if Find Familiar can be cast at will with Beast Tamer, or only be cast once per short/long rest?

the three "Wasteland Wanderer" are a bit lackluster compare to the other two. It feels they just couldn't come up whit anything unique but wanted to have multiple options, so they added them.
This is one of the best things about ranger
