Metamagic Tips & Notes
- Notes & Tips go here
- Metamagic be used for Eldritch Blast. For example, Distant, Quickened, and Subtle will work with Eldritch Blast. Twinned will initially work, but stops when you hit level 5 and EB upgrades to fire two beams, breaking the prereqs for Twinned.
- Quickened Spell becomes available at level 3 for 3 sorcery points

doesn't work with monk subclass way of the four elements spells :(

Wish it had transmuted spell to change firebolt into a lightning bolt, making it synergize with Storm Sorcery

I too also wish Empowered Metamagic had been brought over from the pen and paper setting. It was one of the classic metamagics that made sure you just got more damage out of spells. Good for making fireball hit like a mack truck.
Can Metamagic be used for Eldritch Blast? Which Meta is comapatible?

What about Empowered Spell? That's in the PHB as a core metamagic option for Sorcerer. Why is it not in the game? Too hard to implement?

It's a real shame that empowered spell isn't implemented makes the sorcerer somewhat underwhelming in bg3. I'm playing as a red dragonborn fire sorcerer and while it's certainly adequate and powerful, I keep feeling more like a neutered wizard than a sorcerer most of the best spells can't be twinned so metamagic falls flat because the rest are most for niche situations that don't co.e up all that often.
