Draconic Resilience: Armour Class Tips & Notes
- Despite saying that this feature alters "base Armour Class", this acts as a separate calculation for Armour Class, and does not stack with Unarmoured Defence.

For the people saying it doesn't work with the others is because this is another form of unarmored defence basically.
MAge armor still works with barb unarmored defence and monk tho, just have gale cast it on you

So, how the game determines what AC calulation to use if you are Monk or Barbarian already with Unarmoured Defence ? Draconic Resilience makes your armour 13 + DEX, but what if I already have Barbarian with greater bonus from CON + DEX ? If I multi-class into 1 level of Sorcerer, will the game use the bonus that is stronger or the one that is newer ?

IDK if this is a bug and Unarmoured Defence does not stack with it, or it is a "last minute balance change" and Larians forgot to alter the description as it is very misleading (it kinda says that Barb & Monk Unarmoured Defence & Draconic Resilience should all stack). Anyway, I think that for Barb or Monk it could still be something that you can use, as long as you will make a DEX focused Barb or Monk with no WIS... But that is kinda pointless. I mean Barb has a lot of things focused around CON and Monk also uses WIS for a lot of things.
Besides, If you think about it - Draconic Resilience is not even that powerful to begin with, as you can pick different sorc sub-class and just cast Mage Armour to have literally the same bonus, while still having access to your other sub-class feature. I guess it is more like a RP/Fascion thing at this point.

I thought it increased your base AC to 13, but multiclassing into Barb over-writes this instead of adding to it.

This negates Barbarian's unarmored defense trait, which adds your CON modifier to your armor class.

5e version states while not wearing armor your ac is 13+ your dex modifier. This game does not say that but may still work like that.

Well after a long time finding out what class I wanted to play, I learned today this does not stack with Monk's unarmored defense. After a little more searching it seems that this is the way it works in tabletop.
Nevertheless, it really should work in BG3. First, it just makes sense. The reason you have increased AC because your skin is tougher because of the draconic bloodline. Second, the way it's worded is "your base AC is increased to 13". It just touches the base when unarmored so shouldn't affect the modifiers.
Ah well, my disappointment knows no bounds.

"When you aren't wearing armour, your Base Armour Class increased by 3."
Sounds like an excellent synergy for Barbarian or Monk, since they are not wearing armour (Unarmored Defense passive).

I haven't actually played this, but does this mean Draconic resilience stacks with mage armour? If so this is an excellent subclass
Just treat this like permanent mage armor, if mage armor doesn't work with x then this probably wouldn't either, also wearing any armor removes the +3 ac, even if you only wear something like a light helmet.
