Psionic Backlash Tips & Notes
- Can be used once every round, without the need for Short or Long Rest.
- Damage is calculated before the spell the enemy is casting does, so if it kills the target, it prevents the spell.

This can certainly be very strong, but one thing I would caution is that you only get one reaction per turn. Many feats and class features also make use of reactions, so if you're blowing your reaction on psionic backlash all the time you might actually be losing opportunities to use more powerful reactions. Losing an opportunity attack for 1d4 damage is not necessarily a good trade, for example.

Procs Cull the Weak so if the enemy is low you can instakill them with this reaction.

The wording of how much damage is done is worded very poorly (even ingame).
The damage calculates 1d4 * Spell Level, not 1d4 per spell level.
So for let's say a 2nd level spell, you don't roll 2d4. You roll 1d4 and multiply it by 2.

Step 1 - Put this on every party member
Step 2 - Watch enemy mages commit suicide

This thing is actually insane, the damage applies before the spell activates.

Be warned; do NOT put this on a concentration caster of your own. It instantly causes you to break concentration, even if you decide not to trigger it
