Bend Luck is a Feature in Baldur's Gate 3. Features provide unique abilities or effects and can be acquired depending on the Character's Race, Class, and level. Bend Luck is a class feature for the Wild Magic subclass.
Bend Luck Information

How to Unlock Bend Luck
Bend Luck can be unlocked by the following classes:

- Make sure to set this up under your Reactions tab by pressing "L" on the keyboard, and making sure it is ticked on and to "Ask" so it will prompt you to use this whenever it qualifies.

Seems like Cutting Words is drastically better—am I missing something?

Assuming I want to impose the debuff on an enemy attacking me, is this before or after his roll? As in, does it act like the spell shield?

As long this is not triggered as reaction bend luck only uses sorcerery points.so if you do not count 2 sorcery point this is a free action
