Guide to Danger Sense in Baldur's Gate 3
When the Barbarian reaches level 2, you gain an uncanny sense of when things nearby aren’t as they should be, giving you an edge when you dodge away from danger. Barbarians will gain Advantage on Dexterity saving throws against effects that you can see, such as traps and spells.
How does Danger Sense work in BG3?
Danger Sense is a feature gained by the Barbarian class when they reach Level 2. The Barbarian class will benefit from this if he's not blinded, deafened, or incapacitated. In the case that a Barbarian encounters a trap, he will gain a Dexterity Saving Throw. The same thing will apply to other effects that can be seen such as spells and surfaces.
Limitations of Danger Sense in Baldur's Gate 3
The Barbarian will gain an edge against unseen dangers because of this Feature. Barbarians are great with Constitution builds and generally, they aren't going to have great Dexterity. Think of Danger Sense as a Feature given to the class to compensate for their lack of DEX, which gives them the Dexterity Saving Throw. This Feature will only work as long as the Barbarian is not blinded, deafened, or incapacitated.
