Did the math on this and it's somewhat of a trap. Yes it give you a bonus action and regains half your ki but at lvl 6 monk you only have 7 ki. So your ability to spam flurry of blows using ki is severely limited by the number of ki you have remaining. With theif 3 and fighter 2 and a haste you CAN round 1 get 13 strikes in but subsequent turns sees your ki severely depleted where in turn 3 only the extra ki from WoB is available to you giving you 5 atks with haste on.
A lot of min max guides miss this point. Of course 13 atks at 30dmg each is bonkers, you will delete things round 1, however it's not sustsinable

Damn, I want to justify going Shadows because Shadow step is so cool but they were REALLY generous to Way of the Open Hand weren't they.

Wholeness of Body still heal but now in BG3 it regain half of your ki and put you in buff for 3 turn that you regain 1ki and 1 extra bonus action per turn
Can I stack this with a thief rouge and a berserker barbarian and get 3 enraged throws per turn?
