Reliable Talent Tips & Notes
- As the die is no longer capable of landing on 1 with this feature, you cannot critically fail checks for skills with which you are proficient.
- Based on the frequency of rolling 10s with this skill in v4.1.1, it seems to be implemented such that any roll of 1-9 gets converted into a 10.

The real question is, does this treat 1-9 to not exist (so you have even chance between 10 and 29), or does this treat 1-9 as 10 (which means you have 50% chance to roll a 10).

is this useful at all in battle? because I'm deciding if I should multiclass astarion.. If this is mostly useful for face character and dialogue checks/out of combat, I can leave it out

To put this to rest: after getting this wonderful ability, affected skills have not rolled lower than 10. Pre-bonus, pure dice roll, never lower than 10. Just wish I had this for most of the game...

How does this skill work with the Githyanki Astral knowledge? I’m curious
does this mean that pickpocketing will be pretty much autosuccess other than rolling natural 1 since I have +14-+17 in modifiers already on lvl7?

did anyone test the nat1 thing. if its implemented like the game just rolles a die that just ranges from 10 to 20 you are save from nat 1. if it still uses the normal die and adds the bonus afterwards and nat 1 is a auto fail than yeah you still can fail even with the talent. would be nice to know

For anyone wondering, yes Nat 1s will still crit fail. This talent does not prevent you from rolling a Nat 1.
Because a Crit Fail is an automatic fail regardless of bonuses, feats, talents.

This removes crit fails right?
