Sovereign Spaw Dialogue Options
You encounter the Sovereign Spaw in the Myconid Colony in the Underdark. You'll start to get violent visions when you approach. He will also say that you will find duergar invaders near the lake's edge. Your interactions here will be recorded in your journal for Defeat the Duergar Intruders.
- Why did these duergar attack?
- Sure, I can handle those duergar nearby.
- What in the hells did you do to that corpse?
- Forget it. If you want them dead, you can kill them yourself.
- Leave.
If you ask why, choosing the first option he will say the duergar seek a gnome. And you will be able to choose another dialogue option.
Choose the second option and he will say they breathe life into their enemies' flesh.
- Lets talk about something else.
- These spores hold such power. How might I gain this knowledge?
- The spore-magic is repulsive. You die by my hand!
- Leave.
If you ask how to gain the knowledge, he will say you may not. Finally, if you choose to help him, you will receive another vision and the journal will be updated for Defeat the Duergar Intruders.

Need to make a correction to the pending comment; the secondary unique Bard options that accepts the job opens up the door ahead of time, while the third of lying, cuts off Glut's quest/title potential and opens the door as you have "Completed" the quest.

Abi Scores: 18 Str, 10 Dex, 14 Con, 13 Int, 15 Wis, 10 Cha - Plant, Level 5, Myconid, AC 13, Vulnerable to Fire, 145 HP, Darkvision 40ft, Medium Size, 260lbs, No Prof Bonus or Prof Skills/Saves, Muscular: Adv on Str Checks/Saves, Multiattack: Spores - Can use Multiattack against targets under the effect of Haste Spores, Befuddled, Poisonous Fumes. Drops a "Key" for getting into the locked door area when killed. -- Bards get two unique dialogue options upon first contact, the first of which is a Bard option about the what he's doing to the corpses, the second is about accepting the job of killing the lake duergar, the third is lying to him outright saying you already killed them - taking the third option bypasses Glut's quest and the secondary title that you could get out of three for turning on Glut in front of Spaw. Whether you accept or deny the request to kill the Lake Dorfs, the only one that reappears is the first, and loops the dialogue with the last two completely removed. I do NOT recommend taking the third option for a variety of reasons, while Glut can be killed in front of Spaw, looting his corpse turns them hostile as of the time of this comment, picking up his corpse, or moving it via throw/telekinesis is NOT a crime. Throwing his body from the area will let you loot him for two scrolls and some ingredients as well the experience for killing Glut. Killing the dwarves is actually worth while, as you are netted a absolutely garbage great axe good for feeding Gale, and if you talk to them prior to killing them, boots in hand, the subsequent checks on the raft/boat are easier to make.
