Ferg Drogher is an NPC in Baldur's Gate 3. Ferg Drogher can be found in Rivington, Baldur's Gate. Ferg Drogher is a Sharran from Shadowheart's cloister. There is a massive amount of NPCs in Baldur's Gate 3, and their ideals, needs and way of living are strictly related to the actions they perform during the course of the game. Their attitude towards you and your party may be affected by the deeds and decisions you and your party have taken on.

When you first arrive at Rivington in Act 3, you can look for Ferg Drogher (X:45; Y:-102) as part of the Daughter of Darkness. He will be just southeast of Arfur's Mansion standing by a stall. Speak to him so Shadowheart can learn that her parents are kept prisoners at House of Grief. Depending on Shadowheart's standing with Shar, your dialogue will vary.
If Shadowheart turned away from Shar, he will mention he has lost a bet seeing Shadowheart there.
- Our hearts bleed for you. Get to the point.
- You're a Sharran, aren't you? From Shadowheart's cloister.
- Remain Silent.
He will proceed to express his disgust for Shadowheart upon learning about her loyalty.
- Use your shared connection. Urge Shadowheart to lie
- Reach out to her psionically. She should plead contrition, for now.
- She has turned her back on your wretched goddess.
- Let Shadowheart handle it.
If you let Shadowheart handle it, she will mention her parents and urge him to reveal their location. Ferg will continue to say that he will report her, but will give you a heading: House of Grief in the Lower City.

AnonymousIf you think you missed his special stock, just swap party members and talk to him again, that's if you haven't brought shadowheart around.
It is so incredibly dumb that this vendor will just vanish forever, before you even have a chance to find out that he's a vendor, just for having Shadowheart in your party when you first talk to him. You can't tell ahead of time that he's a Sharran, so wtf??

There seems to be a bug that his bonus items won't appear if you check his inventory first before persuading him for more. That includes pickpocketing as well.
In addition to his normal 3 unique items (Dwarven Thrower, Cold Snap, & Hellrider Longbow), he also has a Nymph Cloak, Robe of Supreme Defences, and Sethan(Great axe that can cast level 6 Spiritiual Weapon & Reduce) if you succeed on a persuasion check with him.

You can steal his items when having conversation. Just use fog of cloud and your rouge.

For me, Ferg had three unique items: Dwarven Thrower, Cold Snap, and Hellrider Longbow.

talked to him as shadow heart and only got merchant dialog and now i can’t progress the quest anyone know what to do

he can be a vendor with 4 very rare (purple) quality items, including a nice caster robe for Gale. just takes the right conversation - i talked to him without shadowheart initially and wasnt given pointers for her questline, unsure if that has anything to do with the vendor option with him

Buy what ever you want from with out Shadowheart in party. After donig so then you can do Shadowheart quest.

So this guy leaves after you first talk to him in Rivington, correct? Because I can't find him.
Is he supposed to relocate somewhere else or did he just vanish from the game?

Carries Dwarven thrower. A 'very rare' Warhammer that returns to sender when thrown and does bonus damage if thrown by a dwarf and even more if thrown at a large+ opponent.
You can find a corpse Garrett on the cliffs roughly east of the South Span Checkpoint that has a Gemless Ring. From dialogue via Speak With the Dead, you can find out that this guy pushed Garrett off a cliff and killed him when he refused to give him the ring, and looted the gem. You can bring up that he is selling the gem corresponding with the gemless ring, and he will have the extra items purchasable without a persuasion check.
