Liam is an NPC in Baldur's Gate 3. Liam can be found at Shattered Sanctum. Liam is being held captive and tortured by Torturer Spike. There is a massive amount of NPCs in Baldur's Gate 3, and their ideals, needs and way of living are strictly related to the actions they perform during the course of the game. Their attitude towards you and your party may be affected by the deeds and decisions you and your party have taken on.

Liam Quests
Liam Dialogue Options
You must must either fail to Torture Liam or after successfully torturing him, give him a health potion and convince him you are in his side to have the dialogue options below.
When you interact with Liam he begs you not to hurt him. You can say:
- I came for the Nightsong. Where is it?
- I'm looking for a druid, name of Halsin.
- Relax, I'm not going to leave you here.
- [SLEIGHT OF HAND] Pick the lock.
- Leave.
Ask any questions and he will answer. You have time to ask about Nightsong and Halsin. Saying this to Liam, he states that Nightsong is somewhere in a hidden passage underneath the temple, and that he can't tell you where the Druid Grove is or the goblins will kill everyone.
He asks you to release him and you can tell him that you will not leave him here. Doing so will allow you to respond with the following:
- [SLEIGHT OF HAND] Pick the lock
- Be patient - I'll be back.
- Leave
If you pick the lock and let him go, you can continue to converse with him and ask him questions you need answers to. When you choose to leave, he will run off toward the south.

I have a little bit of a problem i missed the option to get the nightsong quest from him. But im unable to find him anywhere. Is it possible that he leaves with the refuges ?

How do you actually torture him? The option to do so isn't there. I'm Dark Urge, have been to the grove, and have promised Minthara I'll get information from him.
I could do this on a different Dark Urge character, but I just can't this time around. What are the actual requirements for doing the evil scene?
Note: If you are a drow, Spike and Crush will be are and get you to "take over" torturing the prisoner. They walk away willingly at which point you can ask all the listed questions to and/or let Liam free without any convincing or checks.
