When you attack a random frog and it has 22AC and can reflect all your attacks

I think it's a missed opportunity for the developers. I prefer this frog over dog, owlbear and US to take home to camp.

It doesn't lose mucus at all. No matter how much it's attacked, every ranged attack is reflected. So far, Aoe is the best bet. I haven't hit with Sacred flame yet to know if save throws are reflected or not.

Having "Speak to Animals" active and after passing all the skill checks, frog repeatedly says something like "Green leaves, shallow water".
When I used "Create Water" spell next to it (making it and ground around it wet), it started to say different things! I just can't figure out what it means by "green leaves".

Just throw AoE things *NEXT TO* the frog. You can kill it easy with alchemist's fire / acid flasks etc. even when it hides inside the roots and is untargettable.

Can you just kill it with magic missile? In 5e that doesn't count as an attack since it just hits and the only thing that can stop it is a shield spell, so unless this guy knows shield it should just work. Theoretically reflective mucous shouldn't stop magic missile since it isn't technically a "ranged attack", but I'm not sure if they took that technicality into consideration.

At the time of Hotfix #1: It ONLY acts different if you kill the hag. If you spare aunty ethal (meaning you convince her to give you power AND let you have the girl) the frog will still be addled.

05 Feb 2024. After taking Ethel's deal and saving the girl, the frog can be spoken to and will lead us to the treasure.
