Markoheshkir is one of the Quarterstaff Weapons in Baldur's Gate 3. Markoheshkir is found at the bottom of Ramazith's Tower protected by an arcane shield. In BG3, each type of weapon has different ranges, damages, and other features (Finesse, Versatile, Dippable, etc.). Characters need to master certain Proficiency before using a weapon, and sometimes gain special Actions while holding it.

Having dual wielding perk and 2 Markoheshkir quarterstaff allows to have "infinite" uses of Kereska's Favour skill and INFINITE use of any spell in game, just discovered it today's ;v

Already beat loroakan, and loot 3 legendary books.. How can i miss this weapon..

The Acid version of the spell is super buggy, not only does it state the incorrect spells that are the same as poison instead of correctly Acid Arrow and Hunger of Hadar, but it also applies a BUFF to enemies since it seems that Noxious Fumes is bugged, or coded poorly. Last time I used it Noxious Fumes applies a "debuff" to foes that causes them to "deal acid damage to hostile creatures." But since the buff is on the enemy it deals acid damage to ME AND MY ALLIES, not the enemies. Why would I ever do that?! Fun staff to use otherwise though. Arcane Battery is good for getting the one last spell out if you've been burning through them fast.

Kinda crazy how the proficiency bonus for thunder doesnt even work with the free destructive wave

Is this still bugged? The free spells becomes castable again after a quicksave/load. its nutty

If I take the dual wielder feat and equip this staff together with the spellsparkler and use the lightning effect(bolts of doom), will the lightning charges generated by both staffs stack?

The In-game description for the two spells you get for Acid are wrong, you get Melf's Acid Arrow and Hunger of Hadar respectively after casting it
An awesome staff for any spellcaster; even moreso if you take Dual Wield and also equip Staff of Spellpower (inside House of Hope vault) which has Arcane Battery as well. You'd be able to cast several free spells with both of them equipped.

it's ridiculous how Kereska's Favour gives you Chain Lightning (lvl 6 spell) but not Otiluke's frozen sphere if you choose Ice

I wonder, is Arcane Battery supposed to be used only once? From my understanding, it is supposed to be useable once every long rest. But.. It completely disappeared from my hotbar after I used it, and at the bottom of the staff description it says "Arcane Battery ( - )".

Simply using Thunderwave on the shields will initiate the Arcana roll to deactivate them, since Thunderwave will also hit the invisible levers. No need to press any buttons (besides the one necessary to make it down to the shields) or see Invisibility spell.
when use the Kereska's Favour, if you choose the Gripped by Kereska's flame you will gain fire resist, buff fire damage and it will generate Heat buff every time you deal spell damage, that's mean something that hit multiply time like Scorching Ray will generate a lot of Heat buff and a lot of damage. this could be the core for heat build.

it's so sad that the weapon model is cluncky as **** when it's sheated lol, it's literally 2 times bigger than my human wizard

You need "see invisibility" to see the signs under the buttons and the levers that require the level 20 arcana check to remove the barrier... Would of been good to add that in the description of how to find it.

Holy crap, this is the first time since D&D 2nd edition that Kereska has been mentioned. Great, my kobold wizard follows her.
Elemental affinity adds modifier damage to spells granted by Markoheshkir?
