Somehow I got this from the Air Myrmidon in Lorroakan's room, along with the weapons from the Fire and Water myrmidons.
I'm pretty sure that it's a bug because when I first looted their corpses right after the fight, they were empty. But when I came back after a long rest there were 3 pouches corresponding to their bodies with the 3 elemental weapons inside (Air Myrmidon Fail, Fire Myrmidon's Burning Scimitar and Trident Water Myrmidon. Yes, they're named weird like that). Earth Myrmidon had no weapons because it doesn't wield one, it hits with its bare fists. They're some of the better looking weapons in the game in my opinion and are quite unique despite being tagged as commons, with all three having a special skill according to their element.
The flail's Electrified Flail skill is actually pretty good: it's a melee skill that takes a regular action, has no cooldown and is treated as a regular attack, so if you have extra attacks you can use the skill multiple times in a single turn. It deals your regular weapon damage + a d10 of lightning damage and possibly stuns the enemy for two turns. So if you have a high attack roll and spell DC, you can leave multiple targets stunned in a turn as long as you have the means to do a basic attack on them.
PS.: the few times I tested the weapon skill it had no hit animation and would take half a second before the attack resolved and the damage popped up, I'm assuming it's a bit buggy as it wasn't supposed to be used by a player character. So far the issues I had were purely visual but I would still recommend caution if using it
Now patched that you can no longer obtain this weapon from the looted remains of a Air Myrmidon
