Corrosive Flail is one of the Flail Weapons in Baldur's Gate 3. Corrosive Flail is a magic flail that allows you to deal acid damage to enemies. In BG3, each type of weapon has different ranges, damages, and other features (Finesse, Versatile, Dippable, etc.). Characters need to master certain Proficiency before using a weapon, and sometimes gain special Actions while holding it.
Acid was long ago abandoned by assassins, who found poison much more reliable in spiking their targets' drinks. The acid kept melting the chalices.
BG3 Corrosive Flail Information
- Corrosive Strike: Deal additional Acid damage equal to your Proficiency Bonus. On a hit, create a pool of acid around the target which reduces Armour Class by 2.

Still bugged as of Patch 4. The code in Spell_Target.txt clearly shows it should be doing Corrosive Strike.

Either this is bugged, or it was changed. It no longer has corrosive strike, making it nothing more than an overpriced +1 flail. Hopefully this is fixed soon.
