Slicing Shortsword is one of the Shortsword Weapons in Baldur's Gate 3. Slicing Shortsword is an enchanted shortsword that inflicts Bleeding when attacking with Advantage. In BG3, each type of weapon has different ranges, damages, and other features (Finesse, Versatile, Dippable, etc.). Characters need to master certain Proficiency before using a weapon, and sometimes gain special Actions while holding it.
So sharp you can cut yourself just talking about it.

Slicing Shortsword Notes & Tips for BG3
- "Deepflesh Slice" only afflicts Bleeding on melee attacks, not all attacks

This sword and booals benediction. Sword causes bleeding when you attack with advantage and benediction gives advantage against bleeding targets. So you cause bleeding first turn (Through tigers bloodlust for example) and then every attack afterward adds an additional stack of bleeding

The description is misleading. The bleeding does not proc on ALL attacks, only MELEE attacks. Really should be updated to reflect this IMO.
Strangely enough, it doesn't seem to work with Feinting Attack (which guarantees advantage).
