"Characters need to master certain Proficiency before using a weapon"

You don't need proficiency to use a weapon, you just don't add proficiency modifier to attack rolls if you're not proficient with a weapon. Shadowheart, for example, deal more damage with Rapier than a Mace, since Rapier is Finesse and can use DEX instead of STR.

      • With "small" sample size of 200 hits, there were 79 Faerie Fire procs (39.5%) indicating the proc chance is ~40%. Faerie Fire from Xyanyde lasts for 2 turns. If someone wants to calculate uptime (considering advantage and duration) be my guest. With how easy advantage is to get in the current build of EA, idk how worthwhile it is.
