I have been playing around testing for a build. And apparently this can be silent.
Was trying wolf druid, with arcane trickster. To always have advantage on attack when wolf.
And I been messing around in act 3. With spike and hide. And I noticed when casting fire wall. I did not unhide.
I don't think that was intended though so it might be patched out eventually

I've been having a lot of fun with this spell. The portal fight in the Halsin quest was where it really shined, where 80% of the enemies spawned had to run through my massively long inferno. Enemies that came at it from another angle got tossed into the fire by my warlocks repelling blasts, and my barb's grab/throws.
10/10 would BBQ deaders again!

Does this process the Hate of Fire Acuity every round that an enemy gets burned from it?
When you cast this spell, you create fire wall and fire surface. Enemies take damage from wall (5d6) and take burn (1d4) from surface. Evocation wizard nulify all the damage from wall to teammates, but they still get burn from surface. But you can extinguish surface by ray of frost and nulify all the damage from this spell to teammates.
At this moment careful metagic does not work with this spell.

How does the saving throw on this spell and other similar AoE concentration spells work? Even when a saving throw succeeds, damage is still inflicted. What is the purpose of the saving throw?

This spell is amazing, especially if your an evocation wizard and it won’t hurt your party.

This spell lasts 60 rounds/turns whereas the Fire Shield spell lasts 10 rounds/turns. Their durations are switched from 5e. I wonder if Larian mixed up the durations of these two 4th Level spells.

This spell is a lot wider than it looks. Be careful, I have accidentally walked into it and killed my companions so many times
