Unseen Menace is one of the Martial Two Handed Melee Weapons in Baldur's Gate 3. In BG3, each type of weapon has different ranges, damages, and other features (Finesse, Versatile, Dippable, etc). Characters need to master certain Proficiency before using a weapon, and sometimes gain special Actions while holding it.
Yes, but what exactly is hitting you?

A Champion Fighter will have a 27.75% crit chance with this. You crit on 18, 19, and 20 and you'll have advantage so that's two 15% chances to crit per attack. Even though Everburn says it does more damage, the crit rate + advantage on attacks + polearm master feat makes this the better option.

Disarm immunity from being Invisible doesn't seem to work.
You can be disarmed and drop the weapon, even if it's Pact Bound, by Fear and Disarming Attack.

Polearm Master + Sentinel on Battle Master, turns character into a walking zone of control and makes almost every maneuver hit, so disarm, trip and push away.

Half-Orc with Great Weapon Master wielding this thing is pretty gamebreaking at level 5(!)

So, I've used this on Karlach for a while now, I've noticed that when I miss it still prompts me to try and use reckless attack even though I already had advantage from the weapon itself, which basically gives me triple advantage on attacks with her and I almost never miss attacks with her now because of it. Very cool, and she crits all the time now too.

If you drop your invisible pokey stick, I assume you can find it by holding Alt.
I totally just had this thing knocked out of my hands. I had not missed recently, the weapon was still invisible and remained so while laying on the ground.

I'm in act 3 on tactician and this weapon still slaps like crazy. Crit on 19-20 + advantage = roughly 20% crit chance, and that's without any additional buffs, feats, etc. Not sure about other classes, but for paladins this is a BIS weapon, since half of their damage comes from divine smites. Landing a Divine Smite III on a crit is devastating (about 50 additional radiant damage).
I have Minthara using this weapon and at lvl 10 she crits for like 70-90 damage total regularly (with her Soul Branding buff).
Considering that you can get this pretty early on (like lvl 5) and there's only one +3 two-hander and it's only in act 3, this one is a must have weapon.

UNSEEN MENACE has "Invisible Weapon" passive; it can't be disarmed, has advantage on attack rolls and Crit Hit roll is 19. However it loses this property for 2 turns if user misses an attack.
Dunno if this is better than the Sussur Greatsword. Sussur is just too good on melee 2h, with silence, daze from pommel strike and has more dmg than Unseen Menace.
Does the crit range buff take effect even if the weapon is not the one being used? Like if you're using a bow but having this spear on the melee weapon slot?
