Duke Ravengard's Longsword is one of the Longsword Weapons in Baldur's Gate 3. Duke Ravengard's Longsword is a complex blade that adds hit points to your allies when you kill an enemy, it also gives you the ability to make them attack on you turn. In BG3, each type of weapon has different ranges, damages, and other features (Finesse, Versatile, Dippable, etc.). Characters need to master certain Proficiency before using a weapon, and sometimes gain special Actions while holding it.

It seems, in Honour mode he does not carry the sword in the prison, nor can you pickpocket him or let him command: drop the weapon.

You think the temp hp applies to undead, this sword might be baller on a oath breaker.

Regarding the scaling:
As of testing today on Hotfix 8, IT IS NOT BUGGED, although appears to have a scaling cap of 22 (??) same as Birthright making the two impractical to use together if you're aiming to pump your charisma through the roof.
Testing setups:
19 base CHA + Patriar's Memory (+1) + Bard's Memory (+2) + Birthright (+2) = 24
19 base CHA + Patriar's Memory (+1) + Bard's Memory (+2) + Duke Ravengard's Longsword (+2) = 24
19 base CHA + Patriar's Memory (+1) + Bard's Memory (+2) + Birthright (+2) + Duke Ravengard's Longsword (+2) = 24 [CAPPED OUT]
Using Wyll with 20 base CHA without Patriar's Memory yields identical results.
Did not have the time to test that particular scenario right now but unless something goes seriously wrong, Birthright and the Longsword SHOULD stack if you start with 16 and less base CHA.

I pickpocketed Duke Ravenguard in camp after rescuing him from the Prison in Act 3. He had 2 sets of equipment in his inventory (like 2 swords and 2 sets of armor which seems like a bug). I stole both swords and calmed him down by paying gold. Equipping both swords stacks the +2 CHA bonus but you need the dual wielder feat to equip them both. This can put the cap theoretically around 28 CHA. Start 17 and with ASI's get to 20 then get +2 from the mirror of loss, Patriar's Memory for +1 CHA also from the mirror, Auntie Ethel +1 from Act 1, and 2 Dukes swords for +4.

Bonus is currently added to your raw Attribute. If you have 18 Charisma, the Sword adds +2 and Birthright adds also +2 to your 18 and stays at 20. If you have raw 20 Charisma, Birthright can extend this to 22 but the Sword seems not.

Doesn't matter if I equip this item before or after equipping Birthright(+2 CHA), the effect of Birthright is not applied.
This must be a bug and the game is broken

"Stirring Execution: When you kill an enemy, allies within 9m gain temporary hit points equal to your Charisma Modifier (minimum 1)"
In my game, an ally gains temporary hit points equal to that ally's Charisma modifier instead of wielder. A barbarian and rogue with 10 charisma get 1 temporary hit, and a paladin with 16 charisma gets 3.

This doesn't seem to have a cap; however, equipment is applied BEFORE passive spells, meaning that the mirror buffs will still only take you to 24. This means it is impossible to get above a +7. This, plus the fact that it has only a +1, makes it only useful for very specific builds. A paladin, fpr example, could use the infernal rapier to have no need for str, a +1 to save dc, a higher enchantment, and can get a free cambion to boot. It could save you a feat, but you'd usually get more for having a better weapon.

Can you still get the cha +2 if its on your off hand with that dual wield feat? I know you don't get to use weapon actions or abilities of the off hand weapon but I've seen some passives still apply.
I would like to use this instead of just taking ability improvement for cha +2 because the dual wield feat gives +1 ac, I get to smack people with 1d8 as a bonus action, and I hear it stacks with birthright to take me to 24 charisma.

I rescued Ravengard from the iron throne. He did not give me the sword, instead he asked me to rescued Florrik. I used Comand: drop, Ravengard droped the sword but was pretty pissed about it. I toggled non-lethal damage, knocked him out cold. When I was back from rescuing Florrik he was just chilling and we were cool again. 10/10.

You can get this sword by using a throw action as ravengard during the Iron Throne escape. Just throw it on the ground

The lore text is silly: At the time of Wyll's birth, Ravengard wasn't Duke yet, as Abdel Adrian was still alive.
Then again, we don't play Larian games for the depth of lore I guess.
