Doom Hammer is one of the Maul Weapons in Baldur's Gate 3. In BG3, each type of weapon has different ranges, damages, and other features (Finesse, Versatile, Dippable, etc). Characters need to master certain Proficiency before using a weapon, and sometimes gain a special Actions while holding it.
The dwarven grammar is garbled, but the weapon's name suggests something about the importance of first impressions.

So on my third play through it IS sold by Grat the trader but it was not on other playthroughs of act 1. Here is my play order if anyone is interested.
*Minor spoilers*
Evergreen Grove -> Risen road ( Kalach -> Gnolls) -> Ethal/swamp -> underdark (starting from Ethal swamp portal to myconids) -> Risen Road (devils/toll collector house) -> underdark (Shar temple/adamantine forge) -> Goblin Camp.
It might have something to do with how long you spend away from the camp and it changing hands as time passes.

Sold by Roah Moonglow in Shattered Sanctum, not Great the Trader
It is sold by Brem after helping the Zhentarim with their cargo quest. Not the Goblin Grat as this site claims.
Best early game 2h I found beside the Everburn Blade, because you will always deal your strength mod damage.
Reminded me of Doomhammer from World of Warcraft universe
