Combat Inspiration Tips & Notes
- This is a Bonus Action and the Bard must apply it on their turn, and when another character receives this buff, they can go into their reactions tab and select "Always ask" on the Combat Inspiration, this way, whenever that character has a Combat Inspiration and an applicable roll appears, a popup will will ask you if you would like to use the Combat Inspiration.

It goes away instantly with new patch. Its auto applied to abilities has to be turned off, otherwise any perception check will trigger it. I honestly don't see the hype about this. This is the most useless bard inspiration for bards ever in my eyes, ever.

It seems one ally can only be affected once per rest, or it is bugged.
Inspiration just doesn't go away after I consume it for extra damage and I cannot reapply it on the same character. The buff icon also does not disappear.

When applied on weapon damage, on crit it doesn't add extra die, which is strange.
On the other hand, it does add one more die from half-orc's savage attack and potentially barb's brutal crit. (guess the game treat it as an extra instance, like smite)
Also the feat Savage Attacker works too

I'm confused about how you would buff someone's Attack Roll OR Weapon Damage. Don't you always make an attack roll before applying weapon damage, meaning that this effect will never apply to weapon damage? I haven't unlocked the ability myself as I'm looking up stuff for multiclassing. Anyone know how it works?

Is this not working for anyone else? The damage effect or AC never triggers?
I guess games could be bugged, but i'm having no issues with this buff, lol. I don't know what people are talking about, frankly.
You should pretty much always turn on your reactions to "Ask" anyways. And people say that they can't apply the buff again until a long rest, but i'm buffing the same person multiple times a fight just fine.
Valor is a GREAT support. You can use marshal weapons, medium gear, shields and such, while applying great buffs to your allies, and you still get access to Magical Secrets for heals like Mass or Warden of Vitality.
Play it yourself if you're considering it. :) don't listen to people saying it's bugged, lol. I think it's user error.
