Natural Recovery is an Action in Baldur's Gate 3. Actions can be used in both exploration and combat to maneuver across the battlefield or to harm or aid Characters. The Actions that a Character can perform are based on their Class and Equipment. During combat engagements, Actions can only be used once per turn, unless influenced by certain Features or capabilities. Actions are a separate resource from Bonus Actions, and both can be used in a single turn.

How to Use Natural Recovery in BG3
Natural Recovery is the recovery Action learned by Circle of the Land Druids in contrast to Lunar Mend learned by Circle of Moon Druids. Natural Recovery focuses more on replenishing the Druid's energies instead of their health, as it recovers Spell Slots that have been used already to cast Spells. As Natural Recovery is an Action and not a Spell, it can be used anytime but cannot be used successively, with characters needing a Long Rest for it to go off cooldown. The number of Spell Slots that will be recovered when using Natural Recovery will depend on the Druid's level. Players can choose any combination of Spell Slot levels and how many of each level to recover, as long as the combination equates to up to half of the Druid's level, rounded up. For example, a level eight Druid can choose to recover two level 2 Spell Slots, four level 1 Spell Slots, just one level 4 Spell Slot, or any other combination, as long as the value equates to up to 4.
