Just use an invisibility potion lmao, they’re everywhere, last 10 turns, and don’t care if you’re obscured or not. At least Shadow Monk and Gloomstalker don’t take a resource to use their version of this garbage.
My problem with this ability is that its not intuitive in terms of when to cast it. I started liking it more after I figured this out. You never want to cast it in a tense mid battle situation. In those cases you aim for resource/turn efriciency. Therefore, I started using it as an opener and it suddenly became useful. Cast sanctuary on your wizard/sorc, then cast this on yourself and suddenly your enemy has only your
tanky barb/fighter/summons for a target. Next turn you can surprise foes with a big upcasted guiding bolt/inflict wounds or a well set up AOE spell such as GoW or Fear.
I also find the comparison between this and an invisibility option kinda lame, since channel divinity resource is basically free while the potion is not. Why let it go to waste?
