Divine Sense BG3 Guide
Divine Sense is a Paladin-specific action that allows the Paladin to gain an Advantage on Attack Rolls against Celestials, Fiends, and the Undead. The Divine Sense can really help you in certain situations as it will only cost you your Bonus Action, which means you can activate this and do something something else like casting another spell or dealing damage in the same turn. This will last for 2 turns and recharges after a Short Rest. When you face an enemy that falls under the three enemy categories (Celestials, Fiends, and Undead), don't hesitate to right-click on the opponent to examine as it will only cost a Bonus Action, this will give you an advantage against them and can really turn the tide in battle.
In regular DnD, Divine Sense will give you the ability to detect the presence of a nearby Celestial, Fiend, or Undead, but in Baldur's Gate 3, it only grants you an advantage on Attack Rolls. We need to wait for the full release of Baldur's Gate 3 to see if there will be any changes.
Divine Sense Tips & Notes
- Fiends refer to demons, devils, and such. Celestials refer to most beings from heaven. You can right click on an enemy and examine them, it will show what type they are on the tab.
