Effect

Try to push a target away. The distance you can shove a target depends on your Strength and the target's weight. Shoving depends on your Athletics, and the higher of the target's Athletics or Acrobatics. Shoving always succeeds if you're hidden or invisible.

Shove is a Bonus Action in Baldur's Gate 3. Actions can be used in both exploration and combat to manouver across the battlefield or to harm or aid Characters. The actions that a Character can perform are based on their Class an Equipment

    • It's your Athletics check vs DC 10 + their Athletics or Acrobatic (whatever is higher). Eg. 2 vs DC 12 = shove success chance 55% (rolling 10 or more). Every point of difference is 5% up or down. Guidance cantrip does apply to this check but it's a little bugged (percentage goes crazy due to constant rolling 1d4 on background)

        How does the game determine if shove works or not? As a warlock would like to know so I can pick the best hex option
