      I'm having a weird issue. For my lvl 3 bard with 17 dex, when I hover over this attack it says 1d8-1 damage +1d6. I'm holding a +1 1d6 shortbow. Shouldn't it be displaying 1d6+4 +1d6?

        bloodthirst potion +gloves gives 6 uses
        40-72 dmg at +5 dex +3enchantment
        44-76 with gloves(5 uses at bard8)
        176-304 -at 4 uses(with gloves)Flexible

        46-88 dmg archer gloves&forge helmet no bonusaction
        138-264 - at 3 uses (single target only)

        (8 bard+3batlemaster+wut?) add in vengeance paladin 1 +charisma dmg(requires 1 turn setup to add hunter mark use or bonus action)
        without hunter mark or bonus action
        50-82 per use (gloves of archery+ 3cha vengeance 1 dip)
        150-246 at 3 uses ( FLEXIBLE)
        >>6 bard 4 batlemaster,1 cleric,1 paladin<<
        4 uses delayed 1 turn with all the goodies except hunters mark (could use bestow curse in the setup for single target dmg 1d8 per hit, 2-16dmg per use)

        220-355 at 5 uses (haste,surge,action,2xbonus, FLEXIBL)
        if delaying 1 turn, hex adds 1d6 for EACH ray ,and ilithid power adds 1 extra ray to each eldritch blast(25 rays for 5 uses) - > 11-14- >55- 70 which makes 275-425 flexible dmg OR single target ->25-150hex >>>300-575 dmg

          Anyone try this with a thief rogue multiclass and use dual light crossbows? I’m curious how viable it is.

            This effect is just insane and must be fixed. You can attack single target twice per single attack, thus on the 6 level of bard you get extra attack and can attack 4 times per round, add here haste + bloodthirst elixir, action surge and you will get 8 - 16 atttacks per turn. Yes, you will spent bardic inspiration for these attacks, but the damage is just insane, this effect is just broking the game.
