AnonymousThis ability is useless for a full Cleric build, just respec Light, Tempest, War, or possibly Life/Knowledge.
HOWEVER, this ability is extremely Overpowered if you are only taking 1 level of cleric for Shadowheart.
Grab one level of Cleric Trickery for this, and constantly have it on Astarion. Cool he always has advantage on stealth!
Grab 5 levels of warlock for Pact of the Blade, Lock spell slots on short rest, devils site, and CHA edritch blasts that knowckback! (fiend gives you 10 temp HP per kill with 20 CHA)
Next Grab 6 levels of Paladin, Oathbreaker! getting spiteful suffering but avoiding the level 7 aura of hate which currently buffs enemy undead but not summons.
This gets you 4th Caster level spell slots or 4 1st level & 3 2nd level slots AS well as 2 3rd level slots per short rest with warlock, you get the paladin aura of protection, and you get the extra attack feature from BOTH Warlock and Paladin for 3 attacks per turn, that you can use smites with.
NOW with this one level in cleric you can have CONCENTRATION up at all times, and cast it whenever you want, but you dont need concentration because you're using spell slots for Smites!
This means you get the "Vital Conduit Boots" for a free cast of 8 temp hp before every fight, or "boots of striding" for prone immunity, You also grab the "Strange Conduit Ring" and this might as well read always do 1d4 psychic damage with weapon attacks, because you will always have concentration unless it is broken in a fight.
Using this build for a Justicar type build for Shadowheart this spell will net her a high uptime of 1d4 psychic damge per attack with 3-4 attacks per turn, or 3d4/4d4 psychic damage (3-16) as well as a immunity to prone or a slightly stronger false life with no spell slots, as well as constant advantage on stealth for Astarion or whoever you stealth with.
You cant use it on yourself, its melee range and it takes up the "concentration" slot meaning you cant concentrate on any other concentraiton spell without breaking this one.

There is a ring inside the gith creche that allows you to deal 1d4 psychic while you are concentration. This is the perfect enabler, a cantrip that can be cast at will and lasts infinitely.

Pretty sad that you can't use this on yourself, could of tried a sneaky cleric, but instead it's just a someone else stealth enabler.
never going to use this when 90% of enemies have darkvision and will always see you even with succeeded stealth checks. invisibility is always going to be the better choice.
