Reckless Attack can be unlocked by the following classes:
- Barbarian (Lvl 2)
Reckless Attack Guide in Baldur's Gate 3
The Barbarian can unlock the Reckless Attack at second level. This action will let you throw aside all concern for defense to attack with fierce desperation. When you make your first attack on your turn, you can decide to attack recklessly. This will give you Advantage on melee weapon attack rolls using Strength during this turn, but attack rolls against you have Advantage until your next turn.
HOW DOES RECKLESS ATTACK WORK IN BG3?
Reckless Attack is a combat action unique to the Barbarian class. This is a double-edged sword that will allow the Barbarian to gain Advantage on their next melee weapon attack rolls, however, while this is active, the attack rolls against the Barbarian will also have Advantage. Players will need to be cautious of using this attack and making sure that there aren't mobs nearby because that could prove to be a problem to deal with for the Barbarian. The fact remains that a Reckless Attack is a tricky action that can be useful in combat situations given that it's used strategically.
LIMITATIONS OF RECKLESS ATTACK IN BALDUR'S GATE 3
Reckless Attack is an Action that Barbarians can choose to activate on their first attack during their turn. When this skill is activated, they gain Advantage on all melee weapon attack rolls they make during that turn.
Following this rule, any bonus attacks or opportunity attacks they would get also are made with Advantage. Take note that the skill can only be activated on the first attack and the Barbarian will not be able to activate it on a second or later attack. As mentioned above, until it's the Barbarian's turn, all attacks against them will have an Advantage.

- Cannot be used with unarmed strikes (requires melee weapon)

Absolutely the best ability from Barbarians. Advantage on demand even with the drawback is extremely strong when you need to put down a boss ASAP.
Offense > Defense in this game, and Death is the best status aliment in the game.

This not working with unarmed attacks is upsetting. Particularly since it’s supposed to.
I don’t know if it was a mechanical limitation, an accidental bug, or just Larian misinterpreting the admittedly confusing “melee weapon attack” line. (Melee weapon attack actually does include unarmed, and is just meant to exclude melee spells like Shocking Grasp. “Attack with a melee weapon” is the verbiage for excluding unarmed attacks)

For some reason you can activate this after missing an attack, when in 5e you're supposed to announce when attacking. Meanwhile, they've done the opposite with the Battle Master's Precision Attack maneuver, which you *should* be able to activate on after hearing the result of an Attack roll.

Currently bugged, doesn't work with unarmed attacks for some strange reason. Prevents you from using the ability unless you have a melee weapon equipped. Tabletop version just specifies any melee attack, doesn't specify that you need a weapon.

FYI, Larian version of Reckless Attack is stronger than regular 5e.
You do not need to make the weapon attack with Strength. I have made this work using a finesse weapon, combining it with rogues Sneak Attack.

Sometimes i can give reckless attack + 2 hits + bonus action (rage) hit. On 5 lvl.
But can do only 2 hits + bonus action hit.
How is this possible? Glitch? Feature? (No speed potions, with speed potion sometimes 4 hits)
P.s. I found reckless attack "reaction". Maybe this feature?
