from a roleplay perspective, what does indicate that there is a secret passage over there? is there some book elsewere that hint about it?

      • Anonymous

Wiki and the in game description are just not clear at all.

The key of this weapon is it would give you double the damage modifier from strength even when you are not using strength damage modifier at all.

E.g., for a Lockadin which uses charm damage modifier from Pack of the Blade, you will have strength damage modifier on this weapon too. So if you also have the Gauntlets of Hill Giant Strength or simply drink giant potion, you become freaking OP.

This is really the key but somehow no one makes it clear on wiki..

The guide is wrong when it mentions to turn the two torches off and then to light it up with lightning. You want them both ON and then light it up with lightning. Having it off and attempting to light it does nothing.

Great weapon, but i really struggle to find use for giant form. It really seems like you need to cast it ahead of combat for it to be at all worth it, not sure what the idea is.

Gives you "Topple the big Folk" which basically says that you can put a Huge or Gargantuan Creature Prone. Too bad most of those creature have immunity to such condition; thus when you try to select such creatures the ability is greyed out and can't be used even to just deal damage.

The first character that interacts with the dragon skeleton starts a cutscene, but if you switch to a second character you can loot the sword before the fight starts.

Do you think Balduran’s +str mod damage procs when thrown? (Balduran Greatsword + Tavern Brawler + Gauntlets of Hill Giant Strength maybe?)

                  • Anonymous

As maximum critical equal with everburn lol
                    2d6+1d4+5modif +1d6+1d4
                    26+5modif=31

                    Baldaran:
                    2d6+13modif +1d6
                    18+13=31
But of course there is no maximalizing attack

Honestly Jorgoral's Greatsword can't be beat, I feel even from this, even if I add up all the extra single damage per hit this does, it won't out damage being able to hit 5+ Enemies in one turn every short rest.

Does the Bonus Strength also apply when thrown ? Could be nice with tavern brawler and eldritch knight , until you get nyrulna

                        • Anonymous

you dont need to dim the lights to light them blue with lightning - just use any type of lightning spell on fire's and thats it
