This seems oddly useful. I thought it was not as practical as the other maneuvers. Now that I'm experimenting with it as a lvl 12 fighter, I found that it also gives your target ally bonus damage with their weapon attack. It boosted all of my Bardadin's weapon attacks (either melee or ranged weapon) by 1d10 damage (divine smite, main hand attacks, Bard: College of Sword attacks, any weapon attack...) Wtf? I'm wondering why it doesn't say that in the in-game tooltip.
I think this maneuver could be good if you need your heavy-hitting melee allies to quickly take an enemy down. With the level 12 fighter, I think it's a good trade-off for my playstyle of supporting my melee allies, sacrificing 1 of your actions & your bonus action since you have action surge (lvl 2), and the x2 extra attacks (lvl 5, 10) that comes with a pure fighter.
Take my comment with a grain of salt, it's just my limited observation since I just started using this maneuver.

This move is actually broken it does not allow you to make an attack immediately like the description says

Not only do you lose your action and bonus action, your ally loses their reaction. Maybe I can see this being useful if you'd never reach a target for whatever reason, or have an abysmal chance to hit. But this seems so situational it is not worth it. Can someone confirm if it flies by 5e rules where you give up an ATTACK instead of your whole action?
Note for Patch#3:
The ability correctly only allows the user to make melee weapon attacks... however:
If a fighter uses this on a monk that does not have a melee weapon equipped. They cannot use their action to make an attack on their turn. It replaces the melee attack button until you use your reaction to activate the ability.
