Retrieve Omeluum is a Quest in Baldur's Gate 3. Retrieve Omeluum can be acquired during Act 3. Completing Quests allows players to learn more about the world and characters in Baldur's Gate 3, as well as earning more loot and experience to become more powerful.

Find Omeluum.
- We spoke to a hobgoblin called Blurg in the society of Brilliance Lodge. His illithid companion Omeluum is missing - we agreed to look for it.
Retrieve Omeluum Walkthrough
- If you sold the Githyanki egg in quest Steal a Githyanki Egg, the newborn githyanki will slaughter members of the lodge, blocking this quest.
- Omeluum is kept in Iron Throne as a prisoner. You can only reach the place from Flymm Cargo. (Quest Save the Gondians and Avenge the Drowned will lead you to this location.)
(Hatch to Flymm Cargo is hidden beneath some crates, at X-163, Y-143. Alternatively, you can reach Flymm Cargo basement through City Sewers.) - You need to carefully select your team and spells for this location. Once you land on Iron Throne, you will have only 6 turns to extract as many prisoners as possible. Dimensional door, and Teleportation Circle spells are very helpful, as well as Potion of Speed.
- Send one of your tank teammates to rescue him, and draw the attention of Sahuagin. Omeluum has a special spell that can teleport himself and one extra back to the sub, so don't worry about the time.

So uhh.. I killed everyone at the Lodge prior to saving Omeluum.. It broke the quest for me, I guess.

Omeluum is not at the Iron Throne Prison if you didn't accept Blurg's quest in the Lodge Quarters beforehand. Probably this wasn't intended by the devs.

Omeluum hints of a reward after rescuing him from the Iron Throne. In the room across him, there is a ladder that leads to the attic, with a painting called "A Magical journey" (or something like that). It will teleport you to a hidden room. There are 1 chest,1 "Intricate safe" and a couple of ingots. Inside this room, everything still counts as stealing (the small chest has a couple of scrolls and gold).
The bigger chest has nothing inside it. Not sure if this is normal (needs something to reveal it? it's not invisible) or just a bug (item not spawned?). If you try to place manually something in the chest, you can't retrieve it.

We are supposed to get the quest from Blurg in the Lodge Quarters, right? For me the Lodge is filled with blood because Ptaris killed everyone (the githyanki egg guy), not sure one quest blocks the other

The reward for saving omeluum is a pouch with some coins, and a handful of potions. How disapointing
Well, Omeluum wasn't there for me, I was reading the comments and people said it would not be there if i sold the egg. I did sold it, but I pickpocket it back, so maybe that's a pretty especific scenario and the devs didn't think about it. Sad
