What happens when multiple members of the party have active Hunters Mark cast on the same/common target?
For example, does each caster need "their own" hunters mark for the additional damage from each of their own attacks? Or can they both "share" the same hunters mark? Or does 2x hunters marks on a single target --> 2x the damage from either of the casters?
Or is the relation between hunters mark 1:1 with the caster?

Can multiple rangers in a group piggy back off one Hunter Mark? I would think only the ranger that cast it gains the benefit but weird things can happen in games.

"If the target dies before the spell ends, you can mark a new creature without expanding a Spell Slot." And the spell doesn't end until long rest or the target dies, so you get to keep casting this for free in the majority of cases. With the Hunting Shortbow you can get in the druid grove, you can just have a free hunter's mark at all times. Pretty strong stuff.

Can you upcast this? Like if you cast it with a level 2 spell slot, does it cause 2d6?

In the page for Colossus Slayer its mentioned that the incompatibility between the two was fixed, but here it doesnt, is it actully fixed?

Does this work with monk flurry of blows or do they not have that working.

Does this work with ranged attacks? On the description it mentions slashing (conditional)

It works with colossus slayer (in fact colossus slayer gets an additional 1d6 from hunter's mark).
The bug with colossus slayer is that it DOESN'T proc if you don't have a bonus action remaining. It won't use your bonus action but it does requires that you have your bonus action up when you attack.

Does this only work for the caster (like Hex) or do all other melee and ranged attackers benefit as well?

hunting shortbow + ring of flinging is a great way to make a good earlygame throwing build. you’ll pick up a million daggers and a few handaxes around the starting areas and suddenly be dealing 2d4 + 1d8 (dagger) OR 1d6 + 1d4 + 1d8 (handaxe) to every you hit with a thrown weapon, not including bonuses. plus you can get a +1 dagger, a handaxe that deals extra damage to burning targets, and the true strike spear, all of which can be thrown. and if you’re worried about losing your weapon, become an eldritch knight fighter and ritually bind it so it always comes back.
kinda nice to see bg3 creating good synergies between items for unique builds.
