"Enemies have Advantage on Saving Throws against being Charmed."
What make Fey Ancestry special if enemies by default have disadvantage on charming someone?

This spell isn't usable during dialogue. You would have to expend a spell slot using this on an NPC BEFORE initiating dialogue if you want to gain the advantage on charisma checks. Better off using the Friends cantrip.

Red NPCs still have advantage against this spell before anyone in your party has been detected. This does not turn hostiles friendly.

This spell is actually more useful for dialogues than friends cantrip. While friends only affects charisma checks, Charm Person affects all dialogue checks against the charmed person, even blank attribute checks like Strength or Dexterity.

Can you charm an automa with level 3 of intelligence? (Eternal protector of the forge)
Awful implementation. Basically it's just the spell "friend" costing a spell slot. In combat it's near worthless.
“In higher difficulty modes” meaning what? What difficulties specifically???
