Has anyone tried playing around with having a Bard do a performance next to cliffs and ledges to draw in a crowd and then using an Evoker with Sculpt Spells or Sorcerer with Careful Spell Fus-Ro-Dah everyone but the Bard off the edge with this spell?

God-tier spell for knocking people off cliffs/onto pits. They either die or get their big health pool halved by the time they reach the bottom.
This effectively serves as the spellcaster's version of 'shove.'
------
*Pros vs shove:
-AOE.
-Does initial damage.
*Differences vs shove:
-CON save instead of STR(Athletics) / DEX (Acrobatics).
*Cons vs shove:
Main action instead of bonus action.
Costs a spell slot.

The best thing I'd say is that upcasting it does not change the chance of the opponent(s) succeeding the saving throw so it's pretty good as a level 1 spell even in the late game just for displacing nearby enemies. You don't really use this spell for the damage anyway so upcasting is pretty much pointless.
