Mirror Image Tips & Notes
- Since you lose a duplicate whenever an opponent misses you, it is inefficient to use against opponents that have a low chance to hit you anyway. So avoid using this against large groups of enemies that have low accuracy - e.g. goblins, and prefer to use it against boss monsters with few attacks.

Diminishing by 1 after each evade is pretty brutal. Will cost an action for a caster, but won't really stop them from getting ram ranched on high diff.

better way to code the spell (harder sure but closer to the way it's supposed to work) is as is: 3ac / image, BUT, an image disappears on a HIT (or when taking damage if you think its to powerful). This would let it interact with other things, and be useful. as is, a lv 1 goblin trips and rolls a 1 and poof there goes an image.

This is an absolutely terrible version of the great 2nd level PnP spell and a waste of a second level slot. Either Larian changes it to stick with the PnP version, or give this one a hard pass.
in BG3, this is better used to divert attention from your wizard than to really tank.
If your wizard has 17AC, enemies will love to target them. If you cast this, they'll most likely prefer to attack something else(hopefully your fighter). It will also buy you a turn or two if an enemy slips through your fighter and tries to pancake your wizard that's concentrating on something important. Definitely a better fit for longer fights where these small details matter.
