      Could have just been a placed AOE dot that only the enemy can attack and is forced to attack unless they roll a save

        I read somewhere that Tavern Brawler's extra damage is typeless, and so bypasses resistances/immunities. I wonder how that damage interacts with this spell - is "typless" still considered a type of damage for the spell to adopt? That could be interesting.

          The damage is **** but is a nice opener for divination wizards to complete prophecies. Also high INT STs are very rare.

            They could have tried cooking a little bit more with this one tbh. I get the majority of the creative Illusion spells just plain wouldn't work, but I think a similar set of options like what we got for Command would have been doable. Still, hitting Int saves is of course one of the many reasons the 5e version of this spell was so good, so at least it's something.
