      These gloves are not the same as the feat, contrary to the similarly named two-handed fighting gloves which imply otherwise. The feat adds 2 to your damage roll, while these gloves add 2 to your attack roll. They do seem to work in tandem (think like tavern brawler atk & dmg rolls.) These gloves DO seem to work with a shield, like Anon on Oct 16th said.

        Despite what the description says, the bonus is applied even if you have a shield in your off-hand. The bonus might or might not appear on your character sheet (it's buggy), but if you check your attack roll on your combat log you'll see that the bonus is indeed applied. This is as of 16 Oct 2023.

          not like the feat, requires you to unequip shield to receive the bonus, keywords "nothing in your freehand"
