Gloves of Flint and Steel are Gloves in Baldur's Gate 3. Gloves can be equipped to a character's hands in their designated inventory slot and provide different effects ranging from increased Saving Throws, to gaining Advantage on certain attacks. The quest mentioned gives the Gloves of Uninhibited Kushigo, not these ones. Which are great gloves for a thrown weapon build btw, if you get them the Ring of Flinging from Aron in the grove, and the Returning Pike from the merchant in the goblin camp (before either slaughtering the goblins or the grove) you can be set for your build until act 3 when you can get the legendary trident.

The current location listed is wrong, the reward for the mushroom picker quest is the Gloves of Uninhibited Kushigo.

Sadly these don't seem to exist any more. Which is a shame because they are perfect for Fire builds
