Bonespike Gloves are Gloves in Baldur's Gate 3. Gloves can be equipped to a character's hands in their designated inventory slot and provide different effects ranging from increased Saving Throws, to gaining Advantage on certain attacks. Even a modest pair of Gloves in BG3 can help a character tremendously, so be on the lookout for them, and equip them when you can.

Does this stack with bhaalist armour (the one that gives piercing vuln)? E.g. Can you give steel watchers piercing vuln with bhaalist armour and bonespike gloves?

Just more precisions on how to get theses (I missed them and had to reload a 2h save so let's try to make it easy for you)
The gloves are in Act 3, when you go down to get to Orin/Temple of Bhaal, during the ambush on the way down there.
Strangler Luke has the item, he is on the roof with 3 other guys, make sure you kill him, loot him right away (his corpse will disappear right after the fight) and kill the main guy before he finish the ritual (that meant to kill you).
There you go, good luck! (I recommand the potion to not get surprised before starting the fight!)

These are incredible if you're wondering. Nearly every tough encounter has enemies with damage resistances. At least on Tactician.

Be mindful of the wording: Your attacks ignore "Resistance" to Slashing, Piercing, and Bludgeoning damage. Which should mean these gloves are worthless against most enemies as only a select few are actually resistant against physical attacks i.e. barbarian npcs, automatons, blade warded enemies, etc.

Aren’t these super crucial to physical based damage dealers?

These are missable. If you kill the main guy (the one charging up the kill counter) all the underlings in the fight will vanish forever, one of which has your precious gloves.
