Infernal Robe is a Clothing in Baldur's Gate 3. Clothing can be equipped to a character's body in their designated inventory slot, providing AC and sometimes special effects. Although heavier armor usually provides more protection, keep in mind they may also hinder your characters' spell casting.

BG3 Infernal Robe Location & How to Get
- Location: Camp
- Quest: The Blade of Frontiers, Complete Wyll's Contract by killing Karlach. Mizora will then show up, congratulate Wyll, and give the Item. It is a quest reward item.
- It is possible to get Robe WITHOUT killing Karlach (as of patch #3):
- 1) First you recruit Wyll and then leave him camp by ungrouping and going to meet Karlach ALONE.
- 2) Do not trigger the cutscene with Karlach and kill her, leaving the body.
- 3) Go back to Wyll and tell him the news of your kill.
- 4) Going alone go back to Karlach and use a Scroll of Revivify while staying out of range as to not trigger the cutscene.
- 5) Go back to camp and take a long rest, and having the cutscene with Mizora giving Wyll the robe.
- 6) Group with Wyll and return to where Karlach is, trigger her initial cutscene, and add her as a companion.

Patch #5 notes -
- Mizora should appear for her judgement of Wyll only when Karlach is actually dead. (Resurrecting her will cancel the moment.)
- If Wyll somehow managed to avoid Mizora's punishment for keeping Karlach alive, he'll be punished retroactively.

There is a Heavy Armor version of this that has fire shield, fire resistance, -2 to all damage, +2 to all saving throws, that you can obtain in Act 3 called Emblazoned Plate of the Marshal.
(MINOR SPOILER)
Once you save Wyll's father and he joins your camp, you can pick pocket him for the armor. IF YOU FAIL the pick pocket Wyll and his father will become enemies, so SAVE before attempting. Had to roll an 18.
Additionally he will have a very good Longsword thar increases your Charisma stat by 2 and gives all allies within 9m temporary heal points equal to the Charisma modifier everytime you kill an enemy. Also gives commander's strike ability. Had to roll a 6.
.... or you can just kill him. I've read he dropped double of each item after saving. Likely a bug, but for now that could mean potentially double the longsword benefits. I'm not sure but maybe you could also avoid Wyll from becoming aggressive to any of this by separating him from camp while you are up to no good.

If you want this item and Karlach, it's not impossible.
1. Meet Wyll.
2. Invite him to your camp.
3. Locate Karlach (DO NOT speak w/ her yet)
4. Return to Camp.
5. Ask Wyll to stay behind.
6. Use Disguise Self or similar to change your party's appearance.
7. Return to Karlach (DO NOT speak w/ her yet)
8. Kill Karlach (ranged weapons are best as she's a beast)
9. Return to Camp (DO NOT long rest).
10. Speak w/ Wyll
11. Return to Karlach's body (ideally alone)
12. Revivify Karlach, make sure she's not able to interact w/ you by keeping maximum distance.
13. Return to Camp immediately to avoid interactions w/ Karlach.
14. Ask Wyll to join your party.
15. Long Rest.
16. Interact w/ Mizora (DO NOT attack her).
17. Acquire Infernal Robes
18. Complete long rest.
19. Ask Wyll to remain in camp.
20. Return to Karlach and interact w/ her.
21. Invite Karlach to join your party.
There may be variations on this that work, but so far I've not been able to make it work unless I follow these steps exactly.
BONUS: the Infernal Robes are the best armor for Karlach.

Compared to the robe Alfira gives you in Act 2 for saving the Tieflings, adding your Cha modifier to your cantrips ON TOP OF Agonizing Blast, this robe is pretty much garbage. In fact, if you are playing a Warlock, any other robe is garbage.

This is one of the best-looking pieces of gear in the game I think, easily worth killing Karlach since she's annoying and kinda cringe anyway.

For anyone wondering, it still works! but you need to revive Karlach and then have Wyll in your party before the long rest that makes Mizora appear in order to get the robe in your inventory ( failing to have Wyll in your party when he receives the robe makes it not appear at all)

I tried getting this without killing Karlach using the instructions listed here. When Mizora appeared after I revived Karlach and took a long rest, she did not provide any sort of reward. I was still able to recruit Karlach normally after. Unsure if this exploit has been patched out, thought it best to post this here in case anyone else is running into the same.

You can kill Karlach and report to wyll then revive her to get the robe and keep her alive

I feel it is fair-ish to pretend that I found this in a chest around early Act 2.

There are so many better robes that don’t require murdering one of the most beloved characters in the game.

What you can do to get Karlach and this robe, complete in this in order:
1) First you recruit Wyll and then leave him camp by ungrouping and going to where you first meet Karlach.
2) Do not trigger cutscene with Karlach and kill you, leaving the body.
3) Go back to Wyll and tell him the news of your kill.
4) Going alone go back to Karlach and use a Scroll of Revivify while staying out of range as to not trigger the cutscene.
5) Go back to camp and take a long rest, and having the cutscene with Mizora giving Wyll the robe.
6) Group with Wyll and return to where Karlach is, trigger her initial cutscene and add her as a companion.

wow I ended up killing wyll before Mizora showed up during the raid... I rarely long rest because of efficiency but I will do that now

Karlach is overrated, better to stay on good terms with Mizora.

Unfortunately this requires that you not have a soul to complete. Making this one of the hardest items to get considering most humans have a soul.

Its not unobtainable you just have to 1. have wyll in your party, 2. talk to him about killing karlach you'll know you got it if you got showed him the vision of karlach dying. just make sure you dont take a long rest after killing karlach before talking to wyll otherwise it will bug it out.

Don't go pursuing this, because it's unobtainable as of now.

I think this bugged out for me because the cutscene played but the item didn't spawn. Would have been nice for my Dark Urge Sorcerer
What a piece of garbage. Resistance to fire dmg, fire shield, and +1 AC is straight up dookie. Especially because the price you pay is a PC that can use an Infernal Engine. It is insane to me that anyone would want this.
