Bard 10, wiz1 gets all smons: eva(sundries),woodland(magical secret10), elementals, undead, except djinn the best summon.. and you can get elrich blast and hanger of hadar.

Earth elemental is good at breaking many of the walls that can be broken

Water elemental bug doing x4 damage is patched as of now. it only does x2 damage now with water vulnerability
Best elemental (by my think):
5 - Fire. Has mini fireball.
6 - Water. Has 3 icicle, great mobility and heal potencial.
Druid Shapeshift - Air. Triple stun attack, greatest mobility and permanent invisibility. OP.

Incredibly good spell, very easy to get used to just casting this after a long rest.
The biggest downsides are that it's a spell slot tax on a caster (if not used from a scroll) and that the elemental hitboxes are super broken and you will inevitably accidentally target the elemental instead of whatever you were actually clicking on

I hate that sorcerer does not have access to this spell.. ugh

NPC reactions are still completely broken when you summon stuff, includind the elementals.
Makes no sense that in a world full of magic and magical/weird creatures, NPCs just flip the fck out when you bring a tamed creature with you.
There is a mod trying to solve this issue, but it's not perfect and it can break your game.

Conjure Minor Elemental can coexist with Conjure Elemental.
Conjure Elemental's 5 lvl elemental and 6 lvl myrmidon can't coexist.
Water myrmidon can create 3 ice surfaces each turn (by hurling 3 ice balls). Air myrmidon melee attack can stun 1 enemy.
Just as others said. The water elemental is pretty powerful as it can deal 4 times the cold damage. But the earth elemental is even more brutal. If it hits the enemy, the enemy is prone for 2 rounds and it seems no saving about that. Simply disable them for one round.

Can expend level 6 spell slot to summon a myrmidon instead. Does not stack with elemental - only one at a time.

After some basic testing, the water elemental appears to be by far the most powerful currently. While it is the most effective summon independently, it also synergizes quite well with various elemental effects and can benefit greatly from being paired with the other conjured elementals. Using its Winter’s Breath ability on burning targets possibly makes enemies brittle (vulnerable to thunder and bludgeoning), but the DC is only 9 so it’s unlikely to be effective. Here’s the fun part though: the water elemental’s basic attack leaves enemies chilled (vulnerable to cold, resistant to fire), requires no saving throw, and leaves a water surface, and its multiattack deals double damage to chilled targets, but this double damage is doubled again with cold vulnerability. I’m not sure if this was intended or not, but this puts the water elemental miles above the other elements for single target damage output. Combine this with a spell caster using Mourning Frost and the Necklace of Elemental Augmentation for high, consistent damage output.

There is a mod you can use to prevent NPC's from running away.
The spell itself is amazingly powerful, the summons have over 100 health, can teleport a huge distance and have skills like an aoe vortex that silences (wind myrmidon).

My Elemental scared Quartermaster Talli at the last light inn. She ran into the shadow curse and is now a hostile shadow curse undead. Didn't notice till 6-8 hours later. This is dumb T.T

By now these Conjures (all lvl5?) are bugged and nearby neutral NPCs will be frighend and running aroung.
Very anouing while stealth game mechanics. :-(

Scrolls of this spell are bugged. They don't bring up the menu to select variant, so they can't be used.
Some claim water is best, I disagree. My wizard preferred the Flame Myrmidon. Enemies seem to be coded to do their best to ignore summons so the elemental gets an attack of opportunity very reliably. Hasting and positioning the Flame Myrmidon near an enemy at the end of its turn lets this bad boy put out something like 90 damage per turn. The melee attack is still decent against enemies who are immune to fire. The fire shotgun is great for clearing out clusters of small trash. I'll play through again soon on tactician but on balanced, summon elemental VI basically trivializes the game. There are also amulets to get you your level VI spell slot back. My endgame party started every morning by crafting an army and proceeding with all but one spell slot: Myrmidons from Jahiera and my wizard, Ice Mephits from Jahiera and my wizard, Boo, a Deva from the SH, and the tree couple from Jahiera. No level VI spell is as beneficial as the Myrmidon summon.
