Can this break the mind flayer possession spell on the dragon?

It just seems like a marginally better version of protection from evil and good. Idk why this is a level 5 spell.

There are no comments on this spell because no one has actually ever used it. The spell text is incredibly niche and worst of all boring. The description in this article is all guesswork. No one knows what DEaG does.
Larian left out the additonal effect of possibly banishing celestials/fiends/etc back to their plane of existance from it's 5e version. Not sure why since nearly all enemies affected by this spell are either optional or are already fought in their own plane.
The only difference between this and it's lvl 1 spellslot version that you're immune to being frightened (since only a very very very small amount of enemies can potentially charm/possess you)
Definitly not worth the lvl 5 spellslot
