Danse Macabre is a special Spell in Baldur's Gate 3. Danse Macabre can only be learned from fully unlocking the Necromancy of Thay. Danse Macabre is a 5th level Spell from the Necromancy school. Spells can be used for dealing damage to Enemies, inflicting Status Ailments, buff Characters, or interacting with the environment.

Danse Macabre Information

• Description: Create 4 (uncontrollable) ghouls that fight alongside you. 
• Level: Lvl 5 spell
• School: Necromancy School
• Range: 9 m / 30 ft
• Requires Concentration: no
• Duration: Until Long rest
• Each Ghoul has a chance to Paralyse the target on hit (DC 5 Constitution Save).

How to Acquire Danse Macabre

Danse Macabre can be cast by using the following Items:

• Fully unlocking the Necromancy of Thay (require infiltrating sorcerous vault in Act 3)

• Ghoul stats:
  • Level 6
  • STR 16, DEX 17, CON 10, INT 11, WIS 10, CHA 8
  • HP: 20
  • AC: 17
  • Claws: Lash out with deadly claws dealing 2d6 + 3 Slashing damage and possibly Paralyse the target (2 turns).
  • Devour: Bite a knocked out, prone, or sleeping target, and deal 3d10 + 3 Slashing damage. Heal that many hit points.
  • Death Burst: Upon death, deal 6d6 Necrotic damage to everything nearby (including allies).
  • Immune to poison
  • Darkvision
